Schedule Details/Additional Information:

  • This role will be based out of Charlotte or Winston Salem with local travel and 2-4 times yearly will be out of state travel

Pay Range:

$51.05 - $76.60

The Brand Partnerships Manager leads the brand partnership strategy for the assigned division and is accountable for the overall performance, prioritization, and value optimization of the partnership portfolio. This role develops strategic recommendations, directs partnership investments, manages key stakeholder relationships, and ensures partnership assets deliver measurable business and brand outcomes.

Major Responsibilities  

  • Develop and execute divisional brand partnership strategies aligned with enterprise marketing and business objectives.  

  • Manage a portfolio of strategic partnerships including sports organizations, events, and community-based organizations.  

  • Evaluate and prioritize partnership opportunities based on business objectives, audience alignment, brand impact, and expected return on investment.  

  • Lead partnership negotiations and provide recommendations regarding contract structure, asset utilization, and investment levels.  

  • Direct partnership planning and ensure execution aligns with strategic, operational, and financial objectives.  

  • Establish performance metrics and accountability measures for all assigned partnerships.  

  • Analyze partnership results and deliver executive-level recommendations regarding renewals, expansions, modifications, and termination decisions.  

  • Manage partnership budgets, asset utilization, and valuation assessments.  

  • Serve as senior relationship manager for key partners and executive stakeholders.  

  • Direct vendor relationships and hold partners accountable for contractual obligations and performance standards.  

  • Resolve escalated partnership issues and make decisions regarding prioritization and resource allocation.  

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to partnership team members.  

  • Identify new market opportunities and emerging partnership trends to inform future strategy. 

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in sports management, marketing, communications, or related field.  

Certification / License 

  • None Required.

Work Experience 

  • 7 + years of experience in sports marketing or a brand/corporate partnerships role (team, in or out of health care). 

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities 

  • Strategic partnership development and ROI analysis

  • Budget oversight and investment analysis  

  • Executive presentation skills

  • Proven record of accomplishment of developing and executing successful brand partnerships that drive awareness, engagement, and revenue. 

  • Strong network and relationships with sports organizations.

  • Passion for sports, wellness, and fitness. 

  • Strong leadership, with the ability to inspire and influence others.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions 

  • Position requires working weekends and outside of normal business hours.  

  • Position requires occasional travel.  

  • Individual must reside in their assigned division.
