The Business Strategy & Consumer Insights Analyst will support the fast growing and impactful Business Strategy & Consumer Insights team by delivering the recurring reporting, research, and analysis that inform company strategy and consumer decision-making. This role is the execution engine behind the function, owning the timely, accurate production of reports, surveys, and analyses so that the Manager and Director can focus on strategy, governance, and stakeholder engagement. This individual will partner closely with Finance and Data Analytics for source data, support mixed-method consumer research, and translate raw data into clean, decision-ready outputs.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting & Analytics
- Produce and maintain recurring performance reporting (e.g., weekly and monthly business, brand, and channel reporting) with accuracy and on time.
- Build and maintain dashboards and automated/scaled reporting in Power BI or Excel; support ongoing reporting automation.
- Execute data pulls and ad-hoc analysis, ensuring data hygiene, validation, and a single, reliable source of truth.
- Partner with Finance and Data Analytics to source, reconcile, and quality-check the data behind reporting.
- Improve the speed and quality of team reporting and analytics by identifying opportunities to embed AI/LLM tools into recurring workflows
Consumer & Competitive Research
- Program and field consumer research studies, programming, fielding, and cleaning surveys in Qualtrics, and supporting focus groups and interviews.
- Maintain competitive and industry monitoring (competitor moves, industry news, benchmarking) on a regular cadence.
- Support analysis of qualitative and quantitative research, translating findings into clear, actionable summaries.
Strategy Support
- Support ad-hoc strategy requests with timely, well-structured analysis and clear outputs.
- Contribute inputs and analysis for business cases, whitespace, and planning deliverables (LRP, offsites, MBRs).
- Support the development of executive-ready presentations by building clean, accurate charts, tables, and slides.
Collaboration
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners (Marketing, Product, Commercial, Finance, Data Analytics) on shared data and requests.
- Work independently with sound judgment, escalating issues and prioritization trade-offs to Manager as appropriate.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Proficient in research tools and platforms (e.g., Qualtrics)
- Working proficiency in business visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Some SQL skills for working within a data warehouse
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to build clear reports
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with AI and LLM tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Psychology, Statistics, Business, Economics, or other related field
- 2–4 years of experience in business analytics, consumer insights, data analysis, or related field
- Experience with research tools (e.g., Qualtrics, SPSS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly
- Demonstrated ability to manage recurring deliverables with accuracy and consistency
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT (if applicable)
- Extensive use of office equipment to include computer, calculator, copier, fax, and other business-related machines and software.
