Overview:

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring a Cardiovascular Non-Invasive Technologist for a Full Time, Day shift position in Charlottesville, VA.

No Nights! No Weekends! Monday to Fri- 7 to 330 usually, and occasional 4 hour Saturdays, once a month.

About the department:

Due to expansion of department, we are adding to the Team! The non-invasive lab will see a mix of outpatient and inpatient clients up to around 11 per day of EKG application, stress and exercise testing and those in nuclear stress testing.

Requires EKG application, acquisition, editing and rhythm recognition; Holter/Event Monitor hook-up and scanning; stress testing; report processing and charting; recognize and alert cardiologist to abnormal results. Operate/maintain all equipment in a safe and appropriate manner; complete department documentation; maintain adequate supply inventory to perform procedures; participate in department Performance Initiatives; participate in the professional development of staff and students.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• EKG Course completion highly preferred

Certification/Licensure

• BLS within 90 days of hire

• EKG Certification highly preferred

Experience

• 1 year of experience in EKG and Holter/event monitor required

• EKG experience 1 year required

• EKG certified preferred

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $22.66 - $36.87 hourly.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
