Job Description:
AriensCo is looking for a CMM Programmer at our Brillion, WI location to support manufacturing quality through the development, maintenance, and execution of Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programs and advanced inspection methods. In this role, you will ensure products meet engineering specifications by creating inspection routines, performing complex dimensional analyses, and providing high-precision measurement data to support production and engineering teams.
Pay: Starts at $26/hour
Schedule & Shift: Monday - Thursday (4 days x 10 hours); 4:30AM-2:30PM
THE DAY TO DAY...
Develop, validate, and maintain CMM programs using PC-DMIS, PolyWorks, and/or Calypso software
Perform dimensional inspections using CMM equipment to verify compliance with engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements
Execute and support inspections using FARO arms, laser trackers, and handheld 3D scanning systems
Analyze inspection results, generate reports, and communicate findings to engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams
Support first article inspections and product launch validation.
Troubleshoot programming and measurement issues, ensuring accuracy, repeatability, and measurement system integrity
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to improve inspection methods, fixture design, and measurement strategies
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions related to dimensional nonconformance
Maintain inspection records and documentation in accordance with quality requirements
Provide technical guidance and support to quality technicians and production teams on measurement and inspection methods
Drive continuous improvement in metrology processes, inspection efficiency, and measurement capability
THE QUALIFICATIONS...
High School diploma required; Associate's degree (A. A.) from two-year college or technical school certifications preferred
Minimum of 3 years related experience and/or training
Strong experience programming and operating CMM systems using PC-DMIS, PolyWorks, and/or Calypso. Ability to interpret complex GD&T requirements and translate engineering drawings and CAD models into inspection programs and measurement routines
Hands-on experience operating coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), FARO arms, laser trackers, and handheld 3D scanning systems
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T per ASME Y14.5 standards
Proficient with metrology software platforms and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel for reporting, data analysis, and visualization of measurement results
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present technical findings to engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and support production and launch activities
