Chemours is seeking a Customer Excellence Representative to join our team in Kallo, Antwerp, Belgium.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following
- Act as the primary customer contact for important external customers, distributors and potential customers.
- Manage the complete inquiry and order-handling process from beginning to end.
- Receive and process customer orders, including complex and export orders.
- Monitor open orders and take corrective action to support on-time delivery.
- Proactively inform customers about late orders caused by product availability or transportation issues.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure customer requirements are understood and commitments are met.
- Manage consignment stock, including replenishment, inventory, invoicing, counts and reconciliation.
- Process customer complaints and returns in accordance with applicable processes and policies.
- Recognise when additional information is required for a complete complaint analysis.
- Perform quality-control checks and follow through on corrective actions.
- Support transport and export processes, including relevant documentation.
- Provide backup coverage for other members of the team.
- Follow applicable desk procedures, policies and quality-system requirements.
The following is required for this role
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent bachelor’s-level profile.
- At least 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in B2B customer service, customer operations, order management or a related position.
- Experience managing customer orders or inquiries from beginning to end.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
- Fluency in French or German.
- Strong customer orientation and a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- A proactive and practical approach to problem-solving.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to work effectively with different functions and organisational levels.
- Existing eligibility to work in Belgium and the ability to commute to Kallo.
The following is preferred for this role
- Arabic language skills, which are a strong advantage for this customer portfolio.
- Experience supporting automotive customers or original equipment manufacturers.
- Previous experience in international B2B customer service.
- Experience with SAP and EDI orders.
- Understanding of European export flows and transport documentation.
- Experience in logistics, warehousing or supply-chain coordination.
- Experience within the chemical sector or another regulated industry.
- Knowledge of dangerous-goods processes.
Working arrangements
- Permanent employment contract.
- 40 working hours per week.
- Hybrid working model.
- Tuesday is the fixed team day at the Kallo office.
- Two additional office days can be selected in coordination with the team.
- Flexible starting time between 07:00 and 09:30.
- No regular business travel requirement.
- No direct reports.
- No visa sponsorship or relocation support.
Compensation and benefits
This position is classified at Belgian job level 21. The annual base salary range is €49,680 to €77,625 (midpoint around €62.000). The final offer will be determined based on the responsibilities of the position, relevant experience, knowledge, skills, internal equity and market data.
There may be flexibility to consider a different level for a candidate with extensive directly relevant experience.
