Job Description

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace and Defense Company is seeking talented college students to join our 2027 summer internship program. Our 12-week internship program is designed to provide real-world and hands-on experience in areas that interest you! As an intern, you will collaborate with industry experts to solve real-world challenges and change the way we do business. 

Development Engineer Interns will provide electrical project support through:

  • Design and fabrication of test article instrumentation

  • Circuit analysis

  • Harnessing, soldering, testing

  • PCB design

  • Electrical database administration

  • Perform hands-on testing of electronic assemblies in a development lab environment 

  • Participate in environmental and dynamic testing of development, qualification, and production top-level assemblies

  •  Assess and analyze technical risks, then support the creation and execution of risk mitigation plans

  • Generate technical reports for complex development tests and analyses

As a part of our internship program, your experience will include:

Qualified candidates will be pursuing a bachelor’s degree with Junior standing at the time of application, in an Engineering discipline.
