Director · Hybrid
About the Role:
As a Director, Client Success at Tubi, you will lead and build the operational plan for implementing Tubi’s performance, outcomes, and measurement capabilities within our client-facing Sales Account Management team, and the Revenue Operations organization, more broadly. This role combines people leadership with hands-on enablement, and carries a clear mandate: develop a team that not only delivers flawlessly against campaign commitments, but also instills an outcomes-first mindset, driven by the operational processes you establish for effective campaign set-up and execution, powered by Tubi’s suite of measurement products.
You will design and deliver the training and coaching that raises measurement fluency across Tubi’s Sales Account Management team, lead the organizational change required to embed performance conversations into everyday campaign workflows, and own the standards and processes for how Tubi implements an optimization-first client engagement. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Revenue Operations, Measurement, Data Science & Marketing you will ensure that we help deliver against our Sales goals and leverage the innovative suite of measurement products we bring to market. You will not be designing the measurement products themselves, but rather building and operationalizing the wide-spread adoption of those products through the campaigns managed by the Revenue Operations team. This is a hybrid role based out of our New York office. You must be willing to travel to our NYC office 4 days/week.
What You'll Do:
- Guide and develop the Account Management team on building a center of excellence for campaign performance and optimization of advertising campaigns on Tubi.
- Partnering with the Measurement team, build and own a structured performance and measurement curriculum for the team, covering outcome KPIs inclusive of reach/frequency, brand lift, attribution, conversion lift and sales lift including the appropriate application and limitations of each.
- Establish a competency model for the client success function, assess the team against it, and close capability gaps through targeted coaching, campaign clinics, and structured post-campaign reviews, in partnership with subject-matter-experts on the Measurement team.
- Lead the organizational change required to move the team from a delivery-first to an outcomes-first approach, sequencing the transition so that in-flight campaigns and client relationships are never put at risk.
- Design a campaign performance and optimization plan for the Revenue Operations team including a re-imagining of campaign kickoff, mid-flight review, wrap reporting, and quarterly business review cadences so that performance and optimization conversations are embedded in the standard workflow.
- Define and enforce the standards for an optimization-first client engagement, including objective and KPI setting prior to launch, in-flight optimization triggers and decision rights, and documentation of each change and its measured impact.
- Own the quality of client-facing performance reporting and narrative, ensuring every deliverable carries a clear point of view and a recommended next action, with goals that support transparency, account growth and client satisfaction.
- Partner with People and HR to evolve role expectations, goals, and team MBOs so that outcomes ownership is reflected in how the team is measured and rewarded.
- Develop durable enablement assets, including playbooks, measurement decision frameworks, optimization checklists, and reporting templates that sustain the standard as the team scales.
- Create the feedback loop from campaign outcomes back into planning, packaging, and product, and define the metrics that demonstrate the impact of the function on client retention, renewal, and revenue growth.
Your Background:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in Account Management, Planning, Ad Operations, measurement and analytics, or agency-side client leadership within a media company, social platform or agency.
- 5+ years leading client-facing teams, with a demonstrated record of developing teams in an outcomes-driven sales organization.
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering training, enablement, or capability-building programs for a commercial team.
- Strong working knowledge of digital video and CTV performance measurement, including incrementality, brand lift study design, and attribution, and the appropriate use and limitations of each.
- Experience leading a team through a significant change in scope, expectations, or operating model.
- Strong Excel and BI tooling skills, with the ability to manage and analyze large data sets and translate findings into clear client recommendations.
- Technical understanding of ad serving and the role of Ad Operations within a media company.
- Clear understanding of the media landscape and where Tubi fits within that picture.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex measurement concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Highly organized and operationally minded, with experience establishing processes, KPIs, and team MBOs backed by clear success measures.
- Collaborative, service-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated interest in technology, streaming, entertainment, and advertising.
