We are continuously accepting applicationsAs an outbound Equipment Operator at Husqvarna Construction in Lenexa, KS, you are responsible for picking and consolidating of small parts for packaging in a timely and accurate manner while following proper quality & safety guidelines. This position is critical for ensuring correct quantity of products are being pulled for packaging in order to meet customer expectations in a quality manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Picking Support (85%)
• Assigned picking queue based on forklift capabilities and equipment experience
• Follow picking queue to determine work order processing
• Review and report discrepancies and/or damaged items found in stocking locations
• Scan and consolidate equipment or parts as required in the queue
• Ensure all items are bagged and labeled properly
• Scan into consolidation locations in order to pass to pack out
• Finalize transaction in tablet to close out
• Temporarily support packaging station as needed for short periods of time
Quality/Safety (15%)
• As required by order, scanning and capturing of serial numbers in order to ensure accurate quality assurance for future warranty related to product
• Proactively monitor stocking locations for damaged or incorrect product to be placed on quality or inventory control hold
• Proper startup safety checks of all equipment at the start of every shift
CRITICAL FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
• Working knowledge of tablet & scanning system/equipment
• Forklift certification (stand-up and sit-down)
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Stand-up and sit-down forklift experience preferred
• Ability to lift, push/pull and stand/walk for long periods of time
POSITION-SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
• Checking the details of work to ensure accuracy
• Working cooperatively within team environment
• Capable of consistently meeting productivity standards with a high level of accuracy
WORKING CONDITIONS
• Fast paced warehouse environment
• Daily tablet & scanning system use
• Periodic reach truck/forklift activity
• Must be comfortable working 20 feet above group using order selector/cherry picker
• Frequently lifting and push/pull up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
• Walking and standing for long periods of time on concrete floors (full shifts)
