About the Role
You'll join a small, product-focused engineering team building the core platform that enables thousands of people to work with AI every day. The role spans the full stack, from polished React frontends to high-throughput backend systems that synchronize terabytes of client data and run millions of LLM calls per month.
What You'll Do
Build and ship high-quality full-stack features using TypeScript and React, with a strong focus on user experience.
Design and implement robust backend systems capable of handling massive data volumes and millions of API requests.
Take end-to-end ownership of features from concept and deployment through to ongoing operation, ensuring reliability and security.
Debug production incidents, identify root causes, and implement lasting solutions.
Synchronize and index large client datasets while managing fine-grained permissions.
Operate and optimize systems that process millions of LLM calls per month.
Architect and scale environments that spawn thousands of secure code sandboxes daily.
Build base infrastructure to help the integrations team onboard new systems quickly.
Mentor junior engineers and raise the bar through thorough, constructive code reviews.
What We're Looking For
3 or more years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in the 3 to 5 year range.
Proven production experience with React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
Strong backend skills at scale, including Python, tRPC, or comparable technologies.
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and high-throughput distributed services.
Demonstrated full-stack application development, including clearly owned frontend projects.
Experience building scalable, secure, and reliable backend services handling high data or API volumes.
Strong product ownership with attention to UX and long-term product quality.
Experience integrating AI services, or a genuine interest in AI-integrated products.
