General SuperintendentKBR is providing Project Management Services encompassing Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning phase execution supporting KBR’s client Sonangol’s multi-billion-dollar grass roots Lobito Refinery Project in Angola Africa.
KBR is looking for a General Superintendent to be responsible for the daily operations for site development on the Sonangol project in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company. This role will supervise and direct the daily efforts of the technical and administrative sides of the projects while maintaining focus on safety, quality, and schedule.
***This position will mobilize straight to Angola***

Responsibilities:
- Early site establishment and site improvement
- Subcontractor oversight, shop drawing review and processing
- Documentation of contract changes
- Daily communication with owner, architect, engineer, and other stakeholders
- Monitor EPC contractors
- All required owner and in-house reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
- 8 + years of progressive experience in heavy civil constructions
- Must have experience working in field construction environment
