Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the HSE team, fostering a culture of excellence and individual growth, while prioritizing cross-training and career development

  • Innovate training methods and concepts for HSE matters, ensuring comprehensive employee education and risk assessment competency across all functions

  • Proactively track and analyze HSE incidents, implementing measures and training to prevent future occurrences

  • Provide ongoing guidance and support for risk assessments, ensuring they are regularly updated and aligned with safety standards

  • Develop and uphold policies and procedures to minimize risks and enhance safety awareness throughout the organization

  • Support the planning, implementation, and maintenance of plant installations and facilities, driving excellence in social and sanitary standards

  • Collaborate on purchasing decisions for technical equipment and the introduction of efficient working methods and materials

  • Design ergonomic workplaces and sequences, optimizing the working environment and addressing all ergonomic considerations for employee well-being

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Safety, or a related field
  • 7–10 years of experience in HSE, EHS, or safety management within a manufacturing, industrial, or operational environment
  • 3–5 years of experience leading HSE teams or programs
  • Proven experience managing site-level or multi-site HSE operations
  • Experience working in regulated environments with local, state, and federal safety and environmental requirements

The minimum gross annual salary for this position in Italy is € 42,000. Compensation for this position will be determined by the candidate's qualifications, experience, education, and overall alignment with the role's responsibilities.
