THE TEAM

The mission of the Product Business Department is to drive the top and bottom line by making strategic and entrepreneurial inventory investments.  

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing, and our Product Business team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible   for ensuring that the right products are available at the right time, in the right quantities, at the right stores, and for the right prices. As an Intern, Product Business, you will support the team advancing our merchandise planning practices, driving the business of today & fueling business growth for tomorrow. Our goal is that you will come out of your internship inspired, with meaningful experience and an enhanced skill set you can carry forward into your bright future.

THE ROLE

As the Intern, Product Business, you will support the team in executing their day-to-day merchandising and inventory management activities. Responsibilities you may support with are to:

  • Curate the right assortment across our brands, programs, and commodities to maximize sales in every climate
  • Allocate the product at the right time to each store
  • Execute purchase orders for new & carryover product
  • Assist with adjustments to incoming purchase orders
  • Identify products to order into future seasons
  • Analyze inventory & sales results and provide insights to support sales maximization and inventory risk mitigation

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Intern, Product Business has:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution, with a preferred graduation date of April 2027 or April 2028
    • Preferably pursuing a degree in Business, Merchandising or Fashion
  • A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles 
  • The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners 
  • A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business 
  • A resourceful and entrepreneurial way of working  
  • A passion for Aritzia and the fashion industry 
  • A logical, organized approach with an appreciation for structure and details 
  • A problem solver who thinks critically to develop insightful solutions 
  • Work experience in Aritzia Boutiques, Concierge, or Distribution Centres is highly valued 

THE DEPARTMENT

Product Business offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to the commercial engine behind Aritzia's product organization. You will work alongside talented business professionals while contributing to the planning, allocation, and inventory strategies that ensure the right product is available for our clients at the right time and place.

THE LOGISTICS 

  • Internship Dates: May 10 – July 30, 2027 (12 weeks) 
  • Location: Aritzia’s Vancouver Support Campus located in Vancouver, BC 
  • Successful candidates must be able to work at the primary work location and self-relocate if necessary
