About The Role
As an Analyst, you are an integral part of the team covering Australia’s financial sector, creating and analysing financial models, creating high impact client presentations and providing critical transaction support.
Responsibilities:
• Gather company data and operating information on companies
• Evaluate market data and perform financial modelling to analyse trends and help value companies
• Prepare and present M&A opportunity and business strategy materials for clients
• Be actively involved in execution of high-profile and prominent transactions
• Leverage AI tools at the forefront of investment banking coverage and deal execution
Qualifications
Requirements:
• Degree from a leading university in Finance or related disciplines with excellent academic results
• Previous investment banking experience in deal/ transaction support preferred, M&A experience from Big 4 Accounting Firms (or similar) will be considered
• Technically sound with practical financial modelling skills
• An analytical mindset with solid knowledge of accounting, financial and operational concepts
• Commitment to delivery of highest quality work product
• Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
• Excellent team player with demonstrated good management skills
• Demonstrate best in class professional integrity
• Proactive, positive, self-motivated and goal-oriented
• Prior sector experience in FIG not required – only a genuine interest in the sector and a curious mind
