The Regional IT Infrastructure Team is based in Santiago, Chile, and has members in Argentina. The Team is responsible for supporting and maintaining the regional IT infrastructure implemented regional datacenters in Santiago (Chile) and Sao Paulo (Brazil), which provides services to over 9000 users across our Industrial operations and Marketing offices in South America.
The main tasks and responsibilities include
Assist with the design and implementation of any new projects related to the regional and local infrastructure, including but not limited to data-entry, documentation and physical installation of components of said infrastructure.
Assist with planning and scheduling implementation activities, and communicating the proper planning to all affected parties.
Assist with design and implementation of automations for the new virtualization infrastructure being implemented.
Document all activities and changes during the implementation, and publish said documentation on the internal Regional IT Team web portal.
Propose any improvements and efficiency gains that are to be found.
Assist with the administration of the infrastructure systems, either physical, virtualized or cloud-based.
This includes but is not limited to clustered hypervisors (VMware vSphere), storage arrays, connectivity and networking systems, Active Directory, Azure Entra ID, Microsoft 365 applications and services, and others.
Assist with the administration of the Active Directory domain, its resources and integration with other infrastructure systems.
Assist with the administration of the Exchange mailing system, its resources and integration with other infrastructure systems.

Self-motivated work style, ready to operate in line with international practices.
Feels comfortable in a demanding, analytical role and is required to maintain contact with different groups of stakeholders.
Able to and used to work in a high-pressure environment.
Outgoing and communicative, with a clear understanding of cultural differences.
Qualifications and requirements
Formal tertiary education in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
Effective communication skills and strong teamwork capabilities.
Ability to work flexibly under pressure.
Self-motivated with a proactive work attitude.
(Desirable) Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
(Desirable) Familiarity with virtualization platforms, especially VMware vSphere.
