Target Range:

$24.00/Hr. - $28.00/Hr.

Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 10%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

About This Job

Axos is seeking a Lead Operations Specialist to support operational excellence within the Small Business Banking department by driving process improvements, enhancing servicing workflows, and contributing to key business initiatives that improve efficiency, scalability, and client experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support operational initiatives that improve workflows, servicing processes, and overall team efficiency.
  • Identify, implement, and monitor process improvements to enhance the client and employee experience.
  • Serve as a subject matter resource for servicing activities, operational procedures, and process enhancements.
  • Train and onboard new team members on policies, procedures, systems, and best practices.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Relationship Managers, Operations, Compliance, and other internal teams to resolve issues and support business initiatives.
  • Assist with operational reporting, documentation, quality assurance reviews, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Support departmental projects, system enhancements, testing efforts, and implementation of new processes.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in banking or financial services operations, servicing, processing, or support functions.
  • Demonstrated experience identifying process improvement opportunities and driving operational efficiencies.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across departments.
