IKO is a global leader in manufacturing roofing products with production facilities worldwide. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our team of skilled professionals based at our Bismarck, Missouri plant.  This plant produces granules from raw material for our vertically integrated shingle manufacturing operation.

Job Summary 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Maintenance Planner to coordinate preventive, routine, repair, and emergency maintenance activities across the plant. This role will use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure that all maintenance work is effectively planned, scheduled, and executed with minimal disruption to operations.  This position will report to the Maintenance Manager. 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Plan and prepare maintenance work orders for scheduled and emergency maintenance activities 

  • Coordinate required resources including labor, tools, and parts for efficient job execution 

  • Develop weekly and outage work scopes for hourly maintenance personnel 

  • Maintain and build equipment records, bill of materials, and asset data in CMMS 

  • Create, schedule, and close out preventive maintenance (PM) tasks in CMMS 

  • Continuously improve and adjust PM programs to maximize equipment uptime 

  • Track and manage spare parts inventory and equipment documentation 

Qualifications 

  • Associate degree in a technical field preferred 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance planning/scheduling in an industrial or manufacturing setting 

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred 

  • Mechanical design experience is a plus 

  • Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) 

  • Strong computer skills and attention to detail 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Strong organizational and planning abilities with the capability to manage multiple tasks
