Maintenance Technician I


We are seeking a Maintenance Technician I to assist with preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and the general upkeep of company facilities and grounds. This role requires mechanical aptitude, hands-on maintenance experience, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform basic facility repairs and routine maintenance under general supervision.
  • Assist with electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, painting, assembly, and general repair work.
  • Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and document completed work.
  • Safely operate and maintain tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Communicate maintenance needs, equipment issues, and safety concerns to management.
  • Support outside vendors and contractors with facility repairs and projects.
  • Assist with snow removal, debris cleanup, and other weather-related maintenance.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of two years of general maintenance, facilities, mechanical, or related experience required.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete basic documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
