We are looking for an enthusiastic Windows Server Administrator to support our Windows Server infrastructure. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in server administration, patching, backups, and incident resolution alongside seasoned professionals — ideal for someone eager to learn, detail-oriented, and passionate about IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:

Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) under senior guidance, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy

Monitor server performance, capacity, and availability; flag issues to senior team members for timely resolution

Support backup and disaster recovery processes, including periodic restore/DR testing

Assist in troubleshooting incidents related to server, storage, and application performance within SLA

Create, modify, disable, and unlock Active Directory user accounts, reset user passwords, and manage security groups.

Perform basic administration of Windows Servers.

Troubleshoot login, account, and server access issues.

Monitor server health, Windows services, CPU, memory, and disk utilization.

Review Event Viewer logs for basic troubleshooting.

Manage file shares and NTFS permissions.

Handle incidents, service requests, and change tasks using ServiceNow or a similar ITSM tool.

Escalate complex issues to the L2/L3 support team when required.

Maintain accurate ticket updates and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Collaborate with Network, Security, and Application teams on cross-functional issues and projects

Work within shift schedules supporting 24/7 operational coverage as required

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

0–1 year of experience in server administration or a related role (internships/academic projects welcome)

Basic understanding of Active Directory, Server Administration, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, and file/print services

Basic networking concepts (IP, DNS, Ping, RDP)

Good troubleshooting and communication skills

Exposure to backup tools, or willingness to learn quickly

Familiarity with PowerShell scripting is a plus

Preferred: MCSA/MCSE, Azure Administrator certification, and exposure to cloud environments (Azure/AWS)
