Job Description:

Role Purpose:

As the People & Organization Business Partner, you will be responsible for executing the P&O agenda to the factory site. This role will act as a point of contact for associates and line managers, providing day-to-day P&O support and ensuring a positive and consistent associate experience. 

The role will have day-to-day HR partnership across the associate lifecycle while contributing to talent, performance, engagement, organizational effectiveness, and change initiatives.

The P&O BP will work closely with site leadership, people managers, and the wider P&O team to implement people initiatives, address associate needs, and support the delivery of the site’s business and people priorities promoting a “one Mars” environment that delivers P&O programs and support for all Associates and Line Managers.

What will be your key responsibilities?   

  • Drive associate engagement initiatives and support action plans that improve the overall associate experience and workplace culture.
  • Drives efficiency across the P&O operating model ensuring adoption of Mars Signature Programs; and enabling operations.
  • Support performance management, talent development, career planning, and capability-building activities.
  • Coordinate with Talent acquisition team the recruitment activities needed, including job requisitions, interviews, candidate selection, and hiring documentation.
  • Coordinate with the Associates Support Services team the onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth and positive associate experience.
  • Provide day-to-day P&O guidance and support to associates and line managers.
  • Coordinate with Payroll, Government Relations, Shared Services, and other teams to resolve associate queries.
  • Support the implementation of site, local, regional, and global P&O programs and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, local labor requirements, and data-confidentiality standards

What are the Main Qualifications of the role?

  • Ability to work on-site at 6th of October Plant and commute.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any field.
  • +5 years of relevant experience in Human Resources or a similar people-focused role.
  • Previous experience supporting employees and managers in a site-based, manufacturing, operational, or fast-paced environment is preferred.
  • Practical experience in engagement, performance management, learning and development, recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration.
  • Strong working knowledge of Egypt labor regulations and standard HR practices are preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
