MAJOR ACTIVITIES

New model parts development [Support]

  • Support in Validation of Part Submission Warrants PSW for new or modified parts to ensure supplier adherence to quality requirements and accountability.
  • Oversee the validation, approval, and implementation of supplier ramp-up plans, including the application of Firewall Activity for critical suppliers utilizing PQA resources (e.g., PQA Engineers, Foremen, GLs) to ensure successful safe launches.

New Model Ramp-up [Responsible]

  •  Participate in Launching Audits at Start of Production (SOP) in collaboration with the Product Development (PD) team and designated Parts Quality Engineer(s) and perform Mass Production Trial audits upon completion of the ramp-up activities.

Change Management [Responsible]

  • Validate supplier-requested Design/Process Change Requests and Special Acceptance Applications, ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Market Claims prevention [Responsible]

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by investigating 3-MIS warranty claims for local parts’ quality concerns by resolving issues via the Drive portal. Ensure immediate, temporary (Q3), and permanent (Q4) corrective actions are taken within standard lead times.
  • Manage quality concern claims and reporting for local parts

Concerns Resolution [Accountable]

  • Support and follow up on quality concern claims and reporting for imported CKD & UCKD parts.
  • Validate supplier 8D claim replies to ensure root cause identification and effective countermeasures implementation through joint investigation and recurrence prevention audits. Confirm effectiveness of the applied actions via results review, consulting the PQA/E Manager/AM in the process as needed.

Operations activities [Responsible]

  • Review and update daily PQA reports to provide plant management with timely updates.
  • Collaborate with PQA Engineers to assess and improve part quality through data analysis, continuously enhancing production processes, engaging with Local suppliers, overseas suppliers, and supporting plant manufacturing teams.
  • Support in issuance of the Monthly Quality Meeting MQM Reports and ensure active implementation of PDCA-SDCA

Uneven load due to concerns for multiple suppliers in same time, however seeking support from PQA AM for other PQA team members can overcome this issue.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Science in Relevant manufacturing / engineering degree
  • 1-3 years in car manufacturing process management
  • Ability to carry out shift working.
  • Good knowledge standards such as ISO 9001, 14001.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

    •   1-3 years in relevant functions.

  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
  • Ability to work within cross-functional / Cross-Cultural team members
