About Job

Responsibilities 

  •  Design, build, and maintain large-scale distributed systems on Azure using .NET/C# 

  •  Navigate and contribute to complex, legacy and modern codebases with minimal ramp-up time 

  •  Engage directly with business stakeholders to rapidly build domain expertise and translate requirements into technical solutions 

  •  Drive architectural decisions, trade-off analyses, and technical strategy for your area 

  •  Own backend services end-to-end: APIs, data access, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines 

  •  Mentor and unblock other engineers; raise the bar on engineering quality and practices 

  •  Collaborate across organizational boundaries to align technical work with business outcomes 

  •  Identify and resolve systemic issues in production environments, tooling, and development workflows 

Required Qualifications 

  •  10+ years of professional software engineering experience 

  •  Strong proficiency in C# and .NET (including .NET 6+ / ASP.NET Core) 

  •  Deep experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Storage, Key Vault, Entra ID) 

  •   Demonstrated ability to operate independently in ambiguous, complex environments with large codebases and distributed systems 

  •  Strong track record of shipping and maintaining production backend systems at scale 

  •  Experience in regulated or domain-heavy industries (healthcare, life sciences, finance, or similar) 

  •  Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to build relationships with non-technical stakeholders and translate between business and engineering contexts 

  •  Comfort with end-to-end ownership: from requirements gathering through deployment and operational support 

Preferred Qualifications 

  •  Prior experience in Health & Life Sciences technology (EHR/EMR systems, clinical data, regulatory compliance, HIPAA, HL7/FHIR, etc.) 

  •  Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/Terraform) 

  •  Familiarity with event-driven architectures, microservices patterns, and distributed messaging 

  •  Experience with data-intensive systems, pipelines, or ML/AI integrations in a healthcare context 

  •  History of leading cross-team initiatives or serving as a technical anchor on high-impact projects
