Hiring Salary Range: $29.38 - 44.09
Compensation is determined by a combination of factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications. The actual offer may vary, reflecting the candidate's unique blend of experience, educational background, and skill level
PURPOSE: Powered Printing is a Dairyland Power Cooperative service bureau that provides digital print, print shop, mailing and graphics services to member and non-member clients.
This role serves as the primary intake point for customer requests and helps translate client requirements into configured print and document delivery workflows. The position works directly with utility clients, internal stakeholders, print production and mailing operations to ensure customer communications are accurate, timely and high quality. This position requires strong customer service skills, technical curiosity and the ability to learn complex systems.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Serve as the primary intake point for customer requests, ensuring all requirements are clearly captured and understood.
Communicate directly with customers – primarily utility companies – to gather, clarify, and confirm document and output requirements.
Translate business requirements into structured workflows and system configurations.
Configure, execute, and monitor document composition and print workflows.
Troubleshoot issues within processing workflows and resolve discrepancies in output.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
Maintain documentation for configurations, workflows, and process standards.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and accuracy within print and document workflows.
Continuously build expertise in document processing and automation technologies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Technology, or a related field. Equivalent education and experience may be considered. Customer service experience is preferred. Knowledge of postal regulations is preferred. Training in a computer programming language or scripting tool is desirable.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with external clients, required
Ability to gather, clarify and document customer requirements accurately, required
Strong attention to detail, organization and follow-through, required
Ability to manage multiple customer requests, deadlines and production handoffs, required
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills, required
Ability to learn technical systems and new software quickly, required
Experience in print, mail, billing communications, document services or utility customer communications, preferred
Experience working with structured customer or billing data, such as CSV, XML, JSON or similar formats, preferred
Familiarity with workflow tools, business process automation or document composition systems, preferred
Exposure to enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, billing systems or customer information systems, preferred
Basic scripting, SQL, logic-building or data mapping experience, helpful but not required
Knowledge of postal regulations, print production standards or mailing operations, preferred
