Role Summary

The Procurement Operations Analyst supports day-to-day purchasing operations by processing transactions, maintaining supplier information, and helping colleagues navigate procurement processes. You’ll ensure purchases are accurate, timely, and aligned with company policies while resolving issues and supporting efficient operations. This role offers opportunities to build expertise in procurement systems, strengthen operational skills, and contribute to process improvements.

This position can be hired as Procurement Operations Analyst or Procurement Operations Analyst Senior. We will assess applicants based on their skills and years of relevant experience.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage assigned procure-to-pay (P2P) transactions from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with procurement policies.
  • Process requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier data updates using ERP and procurement systems.
  • Evaluate routine purchasing scenarios, supplier requests, and data issues to determine appropriate solutions within established guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate supplier and transactional data, identifying and correcting issues that may impact compliance, reporting, or downstream processing.
  • Resolve procurement exceptions by identifying root causes, addressing issues within established procedures, and escalating complex or higher-risk matters when needed.
  • Support end users by providing guidance on procurement processes, system usage, and purchasing requirements.
  • Identify recurring issues and process gaps, contributing ideas to improve procedures, job aids, and workflow efficiency.
  • Follow procurement controls, approval requirements, and service-level expectations to support accurate and compliant purchasing operations.

Education & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4+ years of experience performing procurement, purchasing, or operational transaction processing in a corporate or shared services environment.
  • 2+ years of experience working with ERP or procurement systems to process requisitions, purchase orders, or supplier data.
  • 4+ years of experience following documented procedures and controls to ensure transaction accuracy and compliance.

Preferred

  • 5+ years of experience supporting procure-to-pay (P2P) operations, including guided buying or purchase order processing.
  • 3+ years of experience providing frontline end-user support in an operations or service-based environment.
  • 3+ years of experience working in a regulated or policy-driven environment.

$56,280.00 - $96,480.00 per year
