Responsibilities:
Evaluate offers received and negotiate price and terms with prospective buyers or their agent.
Coordinate location analysis of potential acquisitions assigned. Determine, through appraisers and local brokers, property valuations using appropriate appraisal techniques.
Negotiate purchase price and terms with seller or broker for purchase transactions and recommend modifications as necessary.
Order and evaluate surveys, appraisals, soil test and environmental assessments.
Prepare Purchase and Sale Agreements, examine Title Commitment for Title Insurance and review and approve all closing documents for completeness and accuracy and close transaction by coordinating the transfer of funds to the title company’s escrow account.
Obtain Proceeds of Sale and coordinate with Accounting Department to ensure proper accounting of recording of mortgage satisfaction and release.
Prepare acquisitions, dispositions or surplus declaration proposals containing all pertinent information.
Represent Amerco Real Estate Company and U-Haul International in a professional and positive light to outside brokerage companies, corporate real estate representatives and industry associations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in real estate or similar field like business.
Arizona Real Estate License (preferred) or a minimum 4 years of related experience in real estate transactions.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present information.
Business writing – prepare professional letters, reports, and other various documents.
Be a team player and work with a wide variety of staff.
Be able to multi-task and prioritize projects while maintaining attention to detail.
Be a problem-solver with advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
Be able to take initiative and direction.
