Registered Nurse (RN) EducatorMedical Surgical Ortho 3W (FT M-F 8-5 plus call)
Qualifications
-Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
-Current RN licensure from Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners
or compact state.
- Three years of professional nursing experience
-Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing required
-Experience in the specific clinical area.
-Supervisory experience desired.
-BLS instructor status is highly recommended
Job Description
The Clinical Instructor: works in cooperation with nursing staff, physicians, and members of related health services to create a learning environment in which nursing and other staff can develop knowledge and skills toward our goal to provide optimal, achievable patient care, serves as role model, resource person and educator, functions within the framework of established philosophies and objectives of University Medical Center and Nursing Services.
