Key Responsibilities

1. Customer accounts management

  • Build and maintain effective long-term relationships and provide a high level of satisfaction to customers
  • Provide sales support as needed at all customer levels
  • Effectively collaborate and proactively seek to identify solutions to customer issues
  • Provide customer training and further educational efforts for customers
  • Constant follow up with customers and plant to ensure successful implementation of new projects/programs deliveries

2. NBOs exploration

  • Understand market dynamics across all applicable segments
  • Lead NBOs identification & in-time realization
  • Achieve sales growth targets by vertical
  • Facilitate cross-sell in country so as to create new business opportunities

3. Sales administration

  • Regular participation in sales meetings, workshops and other customer and market related activities
  • Provide market feedback to marketing and product sales manager
  • Report sales & NBOs progress regularly
  • Work for minimizing inventory and maximizing profit
  • Work on demand forecasting with dedicated system Demantra

4. Engagement in quality control

  • Effectively collaborate with Technical Sales Engineer and proactively seek to identify solutions to quality problems
  • Communication with each plant as needed to close quality problems
  • Handle compensation claims against quality problems from customers

Requirements and Attributes:

  • Japanese & English (acceptable pre-intermediate oral English)
  • Good at utilizing Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Over 3 years’ sales experience in HVAC, or other mechanical/electrical industries
  • Good data interpretation and analytical skills a plus
