About the Role
This is a hands-on Business Development Representative role sitting within the Go-to-Market team of a fast-scaling AI SaaS company in the industrial procurement space. You will own the early stages of the sales cycle, building pipeline and converting prospects into qualified opportunities that fuel the company's European growth. The role carries real ownership and visibility in a high-velocity, feedback-driven sales culture.
What You'll Do
Own the prospecting pipeline end-to-end, identifying and engaging new leads via phone, email, and social media.
Run discovery conversations and develop qualified opportunities for the broader sales team.
Execute and continuously iterate on both outbound and inbound lead generation strategies.
Conduct independent market research to find and tailor outreach to B2B prospects across Europe.
Develop and maintain persuasive sales materials, call scripts, and outreach templates.
Deliver internal training sessions and workshops to share prospecting best practices with teammates.
Leverage AI tools and experiments to accelerate prospecting and optimize day-to-day workflows.
Build deep product, market, and customer knowledge to engage prospects with confidence.
What We're Looking For
At least 1 to 2 years of relevant B2B sales experience for the standard level, or 5 or more years for the senior level.
Meaningful hands-on prospecting experience across phone, email, and social channels, converting activity into qualified pipeline rather than managing an existing book of business.
Initial SaaS sales experience and comfort using modern sales technology and tooling.
Excellent written and spoken German.
Proven ability to perform in a demanding, startup-like environment with strong goal orientation and resilience.
Experience with meaningful ticket sizes and sufficient deal volume to demonstrate real sales craft.
Exposure to industrial or procurement sectors is a plus, though not required.
Genuine interest in AI and how it applies to industrial and procurement workflows.
Location
On-site in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
