A day in the life of a Senior FP&A Analyst, Supply Chain (AMER) at VF looks a little like this.
The Senior Analyst reports to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain FP&A and serves as a key finance partner for gross margin performance across the Americas region. This role supports planning, analysis, governance, and decision-making for margin adjustments, with a focus on tariffs, overhead spend, logistics costs, inventory adjustments, product cost, channel mix, and commercial initiatives.
Working closely with Regional Finance, Brand Finance, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Sourcing, Product, Controllership, and Enterprise Finance, this role ensures margin assumptions are accurately reflected in forecasts, budgets, strategic plans, and business decisions. The Senior Analyst delivers clear insights that improve forecast accuracy, strengthen governance, and support profitable growth across Americas brands.

- Analyze Americas gross margin performance versus budget, forecast, strategic plan, and prior year, clearly explaining key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare reporting, reconciliations, financial bridges, and executive-ready summaries related to margin adjustment activity.
- Evaluate product cost, tariffs, inbound freight, duty, logistics costs, overhead spend, and inventory adjustments to quantify margin impact.
- Support quarterly forecasts, annual budget, and long-range planning for margin adjustment accounts and related assumptions.
- Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Controllership, and Enterprise Finance to align assumptions, validate impacts, and improve visibility to performance drivers.
- Maintain and improve reporting tools, forecast models, and planning processes with a focus on simplification, standardization, data quality, and automation leveraging AI and internal business intelligence.
- Support post-season reviews, ad hoc analysis, and process improvement initiatives that improve forecast accuracy, efficiency, and decision support.
- Improve visibility to Americas brand margin drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Increase accuracy of margin forecasts, planning assumptions, and bridge analyses.
- Help mitigate margin risk across tariffs, overhead spend, logistics costs, inventory adjustments, pricing, product cost, and channel mix.
- Strengthen financial governance, reporting discipline, and cross-functional alignment.
- Deliver insights that support profitable growth and margin expansion across the Americas region.
What do you need to succeed?

Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 3-5 years of experience and professional achievements.
The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Supply Chain, or related quantitative discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Business Controlling, Supply Chain Finance, Accounting, or Financial Analysis.
- Strong understanding of P&L management, gross margin drivers, COGS, accruals, reserves, allocations, reclasses, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Excel, financial modeling, and analytical skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and translate complex information into clear recommendations.
- Experience with SAP, Hyperion, BPC, Power BI, Anaplan, AI-enabled analytics, or similar financial reporting tools preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decisions and explain complex margin topics clearly.
- Proven ability to build partnerships across functions, brands, geographies, and levels of the organization.
- Experience supporting consumer products, retail, apparel, footwear, wholesale, or DTC businesses preferred.

Hiring Range:
$73,440.00 USD - $91,800.00 USD annuallyIncentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
