Role Overview:

The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) position will be responsible for the people strategy and execution for India, driving alignment business objectives with employees and leaders. This person will partner closely with our Bangalore Site Leader to drive a holistic people and engagement agenda, while creating fundamental and strategic regional people programs. You will partner with senior leaders and managers to align across all people aspects, including organizational design, learning and development, culture and engagement, talent acquisition, and more. You’ll be expected to achieve an effective level of business literacy for Skyhigh Security’s functions and products, to drive impactful and thoughtful people approaches.

About the Role:

The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) position will be responsible for the people strategy and execution for India, driving alignment business objectives with employees and leaders. You will partner with senior leaders and managers to align across all people aspects, including organizational design, learning and development, culture and engagement, talent acquisition, and more. You’ll be expected to achieve an effective level of business literacy for Skyhigh Security’s functions and products, to drive impactful and thoughtful people approaches.

 Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Partner directly with Bangalore Site Leader to create and execute a local people plan.
  • Provide coaching and guidance across all people related activities to all people managers, including managers and executives.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Partner closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provide proactive guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Analyze HR trend data against industry standard metrics, creating action plans, programs and solutions to mitigate gaps and drive increased engagement and retention. 
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, as required. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations, coordinating with legal to resolve any issues.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to local employment laws, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. 
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Partner with talent acquisition as needed to develop and recommend contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
  • Identify training needs for client groups, and partner with HR COEs to execute against those initiatives.
  • Lead standard HR processes for your client groups, including quarterly check in, annual performance reviews, merit planning, and talent review.

Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive HRBP experience resolving complex employee relations issues and coaching senior leaders and / or business units.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, recruitment, performance management, and local respective employment laws.
  • Bachelor's degree required;  MBA preferred
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) preferred.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to write and deliver global people communications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Google office and related software. 
  • Previous experience with Workday preferred.
