Summary of the Job:

 

First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO) is seeking Technology Interns to join our team for Summer 2027 (May–August). This program is designed for students attending Nebraska universities who reside in the Omaha, NE area for the duration of the internship.

About This Role:

 

What We're Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field — rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors are encouraged to apply.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Interest in learning programming concepts (prior experience a plus, but not required).

  • Ability to be onsite weekly and attend scheduled summer events.

Internship Details

  • Summer 2027 (May–August)

  • Onsite in Omaha, NE

  • Mentorship from IT leaders and networking with peers across the bank.

Beyond the Internship: Cohort Program

High-performing interns may be invited to join FNBO's Technology Cohort Program. This program provides extended learning opportunities, deeper exposure to projects, continued mentorship, and professional development.
