ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join our Israel HR team in Rehovot. This is a full-cycle, recruiting role: you will own hiring end to end across the full spectrum of our Israel.
You will act as a true partner to hiring managers and HRBPs, shaping hiring strategy, building talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, using AI-based tools to work faster and smarter, and delivering an outstanding experience to every candidate who meets Applied Materials. We hire in a highly competitive market for scarce technical talent, so this role is built for someone who is genuinely proactive, data-driven and comfortable owning results.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Full-Cycle Recruiting
Own the complete recruitment lifecycle for a diverse portfolio of open positions from intake and kick-off through sourcing, screening, interviews, offer and closing.
Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, success profiles, interview structure and realistic hiring plans; challenge and advise where needed.
Run structured, competency-based screening interviews and equip interview panels to assess consistently and fairly.
Manage offer strategy in partnership with HRBPs and Total Rewards, and close candidates against competing offers.
Proactive Sourcing & Pipeline Building
Build and execute multi-channel sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean and X-ray search, GitHub, professional communities, academic networks, referral campaigns, alumni and internal mobility, and market mapping.
Generate qualified pipelines through direct outreach rather than relying on inbound applications; personalize messaging and consistently maintain healthy response and conversion rates.
Map the Israeli talent market for critical and recurring roles, and build talent pools ahead of demand.
AI-Enabled Recruiting
Use AI and generative AI tools as part of your daily workflow — for candidate research and market mapping, Boolean and search-query generation, CV screening support, job-description and outreach drafting, interview-guide preparation, and analysis of pipeline data.
Continuously test and adopt new AI capabilities within our recruiting tech stack, share what works with the TA team, and help turn effective practices into repeatable standards.
Partnership, Data & Employer Brand
Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, bringing market intelligence, benchmarks, pipeline insights and realistic expectations to every hiring conversation.
Track and act on recruiting metrics — time-to-fill, pipeline health, funnel conversion, source effectiveness and offer acceptance — and use the data to drive decisions.
Maintain accurate, timely data in the ATS (Workday) and ensure process compliance and audit readiness.
Represent Applied Materials at career fairs, campus events, meetups and community activities, and contribute to employer-branding and diversity-hiring initiatives in Israel.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Required
Minimum 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, hiring technical and/or professional roles in the Israeli market.
Proven, hands-on proactive sourcing experience — you can independently build a pipeline from zero using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean/X-ray search and other direct-sourcing channels, and you have a track record of hires you sourced yourself.
Demonstrated practical, day-to-day working experience with AI and generative AI tools in a recruiting context (e.g. sourcing and research copilots, AI screening or matching tools, LLM-assisted outreach, JD writing and data analysis) — and the curiosity to keep learning new ones.
Strong business partnering and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence and credibility to influence senior hiring managers.
Excellent assessment and interviewing skills, and sound, independent judgment on candidate quality.
Hands-on experience with an ATS and comfort working with recruiting data, dashboards and metrics.
Ability to manage a high-volume, multi-role workload independently, with strong prioritization and follow-through in a fast-moving, matrixed environment.
Fluent Hebrew and English — written and spoken.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
