About the Brain Game Center for Mental Fitness and Well-BeingThe Brain Game Center for Mental Fitness and Well-Being, led by Aaron Seitz and Susanne Jaeggi, conducts research focused on measuring and training cognitive processes. The Center’s mission is to understand and improve cognitive functions through research, training, and data-driven analysis.Job SummaryThe Temporary Assistant Research Coordinator will assist in studies focused on measuring and training cognitive processes. The individual will be trained and become responsible for coordinating and administering research study activities, assisting in project planning, and ensuring that established work scope, study protocols, and regulatory requirements are followed. This position will recruit and coordinate research assistants and study participants, serve as a principal administrative liaison for the lab, and support research procedures and data analyses related to the Brain Game Center’s mission of understanding and improving cognitive functions.Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities- Recruit research participants for ongoing studies
- Manage and coordinate research studies and associated activities
- Maintain and support research data management processes
- Recruit, manage, and train Research Assistants (RAs)
- Assist with project planning and ensure compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements
- Serve as a principal administrative liaison for the laboratory
- Support research procedures and data analysis activities
- Perform other laboratory-related responsibilities as assigned
- Coursework completed in research methods
- At least six months of experience administering experimental procedures involving human subjects
